Thailand: Mobile Coverage & Carriers
Thailand's mobile market is served by three major carriers: AIS, TrueMove H, and NT (formerly dtac, now merged). All three operators commercially offer 3G, 4G/LTE, and 5G services. Roaming eSIMs are likely to connect via LTE bands B1 (2100 MHz), B3 (1800 MHz), B8 (900 MHz), and B28 (700 MHz), with 5G access on bands n41 (2600 MHz) and n78 (3.5 GHz).
Local Thai carriers do issue eSIMs for domestic use. International roaming eSIM users should expect compatibility with the LTE and 5G bands listed above, depending on device support and roaming agreements.
